Whitford Plantation

Located just 9 miles from downtown historic New Bern and close to North Carolina beaches, Whitford Plantation resides on the land once owned by Confederate colonel and war hero, John Nathaniel Whitford.

The southern plantation style home is a perfect outdoor wedding venue and features a salon and dining room with views of the river.

Over sized doors lead out to the columned porch and down the old brick walkway to the lawn and dock. We can accommodate up to 250 guests for a outdoors cocktail themed event and seated dinner under a tent.

We can accommodate smaller functions inside the house. From ”Black Tie Elegant” to ”Dress Casual,” Whitford Plantation can offers you creativity and flexibility in your event planning.
